Here’s a nice thing I’ve not seen the like of before. A vintage washer / gasket cutter by German company Boker. I understand this would cut leather washers and even perhaps used by the leather/saddlery trade. It came in a mess but has cleaned up nicely. It may have had the bar shortened as it seems to start at 35mm and the edge (cut) doesn’t look 100% clean but it is correctly tapped for the knurled securing screw. Use I would say would be unaffected and perhaps if it has been shortened, it would have been unstable if any longer? Notwithstanding, it’s a lovely looking thing I was thinking of keeping for the collection but space is at a premium (the wife says)!
