Chesterman No.476D 12″ Rule made for Stephenson Blake and Co, Letter Foundry, Sheffield. Marked also with a second address of 33, Aldersgate Street, London. Marked on one side 12″, then marked 5-105 on an 8 point, marked 6 – 72 on 6 & 12 point and marked 5 -85 on 10 and 5 point. Some pitting and marking commensurate with age and use. A nice find for the Letter Foundry collector or Sheffield historian.
