Nice beast this one, as found in great fettle. Fully complete (there’s always something missing!). Quite sought after and the big brother of the standard Record 078. Subtle useful differences though –
The fence on the Record 778 has two arms for added stability, opposed to the one arm on the Record 078 and the fence is longer. The fence arms pass right through the body of the plane and the blade has a micro adjuster. These were manufactured between 1959 – 2005.
