Not sure if I’ve described that correctly but for me it’s a “crate hammer” for taking apart and repairing crates/pallets & the like. I’ve come across a number of these previously and they’re usually destroyed but this one’s survived in extremely good order. I have one myself I refurbed with some hardwood handle inserts and it’s useful in the camper van when we “go wild”! Made in China under the Swordfish banner so suspect not so vintage but versatile tool nonetheless.
