Nice Vintage Kaye Pie Crust Oiler 1/2pt. Now this fella’s had a life but stood the test of time and ready for more. Partial red paint remaining which for me, gives it a cracking look. Has pressure and holds oil. Produces a small drop of oil on pressure as opposed to spirting. I assume this is how it should operate. Few dents and dings which add to the character. Currently on my bench but then again, so are too many things! Nice one to own.
Joseph Kaye & Sons operated out of Horsforth, Leeds from 1855. Initially, the company concentrated primarily on the manufacture of oil cans.
