Description
Nice example of a Vintage No 5 Warrington Style Cross Pein Hammer. Weighs in at 590g (21oz English) in total with shaft. No visible maker’s mark but bears a No 5 which I’m guessing equates to the 5″ it measures across the head. Shaft left as is, keeping it honest. All good and solid. It had some slight mushrooming which I’ve tickled off with the bench grinder as can be seen.
