Description
A nice vintage rosewood and brass mitre square. Looks to have some age to it. No maker’s mark I can see, just an owners mark either side and a feint one in the brass bottom edge. It may have been altered by a previous owner as the rosewood has been rabbetted either side perhaps to repair or get rid of a damaged edge? Doesn’t detract from it’s style or use and may even have been manufactured this way. Either way it’s accurate compared alongside another. Nice thing. Dims on images.
