Recent blog post will tell of my misdemeanour when cleaning up a Record 4 1/2 Stay Set. Encountered a crack hidden by dirt on one of the cheeks. Not bad but would make the plane unsaleable really. For sale here is the blade and cap iron assembly suiting a Record No 4 1/2 or 5 1/2 plane. Blade is 2 3/8″ wide. Come with original frog and screws.
