Description
Nice No 2 Hollow Moulding Plane by D Malloch & Son Perth. In as found condition I can lightly clean and wax if so required. Good clear maker’s mark on the toe together with trademark. These would date the plane to between 1878-1913 when the resident works were situate at 58, South Street, Perth. Looks to be 2 generations of owner’s marks. Also 4 screw holes adjacent to sole where previously a fence would have been added I presume. Use unaffected. Lovely number 2 stamped on the heel!
